48 Hour Cat Protocol

48 HOUR LOST CAT PROTOCOL

Lost Pet Hope & Help!

Thank you for contacting us about your lost cat. Here is our protocol when we are contacted within 48 hours of a cat going missing. These are actions we strongly suggest you follow for two reasons: 1. To increase the likelihood of finding your cat on your own. 2. If we bring out Search Dogs, these actions will aid in the search.

We require you follow this protocol if you want us to come out with the Search Dogs and your pet just went missing recently.

HOW WE HELP

48 Hour Lost Cat Protocol

Critical:

  1. Preserve a Scent Article: Not pee, poop, leather items or sheepskin items. We suggest items like: toys, collar, bedding, etc. Put these items up and away. Do not smoke around them and do not clean them.
  2. Be Prepared for Sightings: Make sure you get the exact location, time/day and details of any possible sightings. Write down all details and the person’s contact information.
  3. Stake a Giant Neon Poster Out: Post it in your yard or where your pet went missing from.

TESTIMONIAL

“When we lost our dog Wolfie, we were afraid we’d never see him again. We received a few false leads which wasted days of our time searching in the wrong areas. Then, we contacted Susan, and she responded quickly. She encouraged us to stay calm and be patient. Susan and her dogs found Wolfie’s trail immediately. They tracked Wolfie for three days, and gave us a real lead. We soon found Wolfie in the exact area she pinpointed. After being lost for eleven days, our beloved Wolfie is home!”
